The Swing Glove

I purchased the swing glove because I have a terrible habit of letting my wrist break down at impact.  I was hoping that the glove would help me cure that.  I was also interested in using it in my short game practice to see if it helped any there.

After receiving my Swing Glove I put it on to make sure it fit.  The first one I ordered was not only to small, but for the wrong hand as-well.  It did indeed fit.  So I reached over and grabbed my wedge and starting hitting chip shots in the house.  The first thing I noticed is that the glove did nothing for me there.  Mainly because my wrist does not break down on chips, pitches and distance shots.  Next was the full swing outside.

Swinging with the glove felt weird and I was hitting some weird shots because I was thinking more about how the glove felt than hitting the ball.  After I got used to the glove I started hitting some beautiful shots.  I am a conic hooker and have been trying to learn to hit a fade.  Normally I can do it, but it is inconsistent and may be a baby fade one time and a power slice the next.  With the Swing Glove I was able to hit an awesome little fade that produced the same ball flight every-time.  With my irons the Swing Glove is a deffinate winner.

My woods did no achieve such success so quickly.  But, that is due to the fact that I throw my hands at the ball really really hard.  I have some pretty incredible club head speeds, but I also have some pretty incredible hooks.  However, after a while I got used to it and started hitting some nice straight balls that would hit any fairway in America.

Conclusion
Overall I would say the Swing Glove does most of everything it says it will do.  Beings that the only true imperative for all golfers wishing to hit the ball constant is a flat left wrist, I think all golfers should own one or try and find something similar.  For under $40 you get a training aid that you can play with (in non tournament rounds).  That means that you can take the feedback on the course with you.
