Innovex Type-S

The Innovex Type-S irons were the first clubs from Innovex that I have seen.  I normally play blades so I was not sure wether or not I would be able to able to hit them.  Upon pulling them out of the box I noticed that over the top they look pretty good.  Especially when compared to other ultra game improvement irons.  As soon as I got them all out of the box and unwrapped   I grabbed some junky balls and headed for my back yard.  I brought a 6 iron out with me and proceeded to hit six shots.  All of them were straight as an arrow and nice and high.  Now it was time to head out to the course with them.

TypeS-

TypeS

The Type-S performed great for me at the course.  I normally play blades so I was feeling a little reluctant to use a cavity back club.  However, after settling into them I found it reasuring to have some forgiveness.  Especially with the long irons.

The Type-S feel great at impact and the trajectory was good.  The distances with all of the irons were constant.  There is no problem with hot spots like so many cavity back clubs that I have tried.

Conclusion:

The Type-S irons are pretty sweet clubs.  They look good, they preform good and they are priced excellent.  When you couple the performance with the price the Innovex Type-S are pretty tough to beat.  If you are a golfer on a tight budget that needs new equipment, then the Innovex are for you.  Why buy used clubs or closeout models of other brands when you can get a set of brand new irons custom made for you for cheaper?  Do not let the price of the Type-S fool you.  They are great clubs and deserve some respect.
